Cookie and local storage policy
Site covered: bolby.io (French and English pages) · Publisher: Seen-apps SRL
Version of 27 October 2026
This English text is provided for convenience. Only the French version of this page is legally binding.
What this policy covers
It describes every tracker stored on your device when you visit bolby.io, including its English pages (/en/…). The list below is complete: it was drawn up on the live site on 27 October 2026 and replaces earlier versions of this document.
It does not cover the third-party services our pages link to (Google booking calendar, webinar platform, Vimeo, LinkedIn). Once you are on those services, their own policies apply.
The short version
No advertising trackers
No ads, no retargeting, no active social media button on the site.
Built-in audience measurement
First-party statistics provided by our hosting platform: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel.
Six trackers, all first-party
Five keep the site working and remember your choices, one counts visits.
Cookie or local storage?
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) are two neighbouring mechanisms, also handled by your browser: they let a site keep a piece of information without an actual cookie file.
The Bolby site sets no cookie. It only uses browser storage, listed in the table below, including for its audience measurement. Both mechanisms follow the same rules, so we treat them the same way here and you can clear them the same way.
Local storage keeps information until you delete it. Session storage forgets it as soon as you close the tab.
Trackers stored by bolby.io
Six entries, stored on bolby.io and readable only by bolby.io. None is used by a third party, none follows you from one site to another, and none feeds advertising profiles.
| Name | Storage | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| seen_apps_cookie_consent | Local storage | Remembers the choices you made in the consent banner (analytics, preferences) and when you made them. | Until you delete it | Strictly necessary |
| bolby_pop_rps | Session storage | Stops the announcement about the RPS analysis from appearing twice during the same visit. | Until the tab is closed | Functional |
| bolby_pop_webinaire_ie | Session storage | Stops the invitation to the emotional intelligence webinar from appearing twice. | Until the tab is closed | Functional |
| webinar_popup_dismissed | Session storage | Remembers that you closed the webinar invitation, so it does not reopen during your visit. | Until the tab is closed | Functional |
| bolby_replays | Session storage | Keeps, for the length of your visit, access to the webinar replays you unlocked through a form. | Until the tab is closed | Functional |
| base44_analytics_session_id | Local storage | Anonymous session identifier: links the pages viewed during one visit so that audience statistics can be produced. | Until you delete it | Audience measurement |
The first five are needed for the site to work or to honour your choices. The sixth counts visits: it does not affect access to the site.
Audience measurement
The site loads no third-party analytics tool: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media script. Traffic is measured by the platform that hosts the site (Base44), on our behalf and for bolby.io alone.
What is counted: number of visits and visitors, visit duration, pages viewed, referring page, country, device and operating system. The session identifier (base44_analytics_session_id) links the pages viewed during one visit; it holds no name, no email address and no contact detail.
These statistics are aggregated. They are never used for advertising, never sold, never combined with other sites, and never used to profile an individual. They are kept for 60 days in the dashboard, then deleted.
We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used. Refusing or clearing the trackers described above does not stop you browsing.
The consent banner
The banner lets you accept, reject or choose. Your answer, and the date you gave it, are stored in seen_apps_cookie_consent.
No third-party measurement tool being installed, the "analytics" preference activates no additional tracker today: the audience measurement described above is first-party and runs independently of that setting. If a third-party tool were added, it would only run after your agreement, and this policy would be updated before it went live.
To change your choice at any time, clear the site's data in your browser: the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Third-party content, loaded when you choose
None of these services loads with the page. They only start when you click.
Our webinar replays are hosted by Vimeo and played through its player (player.vimeo.com). The player only loads when you start a video or open a replay page.
At that point Vimeo may set its own cookies on your device: player identification, playback preferences, bot protection. Those cookies are set by Vimeo, which alone decides their purposes and lifetimes; we have no access to them. Their policy is available at vimeo.com/privacy.
The "Book a slot" buttons open our Google calendar in a new tab, and webinar registrations happen on webinar.bolby.io. No data is sent and no script is loaded on bolby.io before you click: once you are on those services, their rules apply.
Technical resources, with no tracker
To display our pages, your browser also loads the Cabinet Grotesk typeface (api.fontshare.com) and Interstate (fonts.cdnfonts.com), plus the site's images and files hosted on media.base44.com.
As with any web request, these calls technically pass your IP address and browser to the provider concerned. They set no cookie and no tracking identifier.
Our host also keeps technical connection logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) for security and diagnostics, for a limited period. Those logs are not trackers and are never used for advertising profiles.
How to see and clear this information
Every browser lets you inspect and then delete the data a site has stored:
Using a different browser? The steps are usually listed on www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies.
Clearing this data does not stop you using the site. Only the memory of your choices is lost: the banner reappears, and information windows may show once more.
